THBT Countrier have a right to nuclear weapon

       Kali ini saya mau nge posting paper saya lagi guys, hahaha :D. Ini merupakan paper kedua saya, asyik e :D. Well, paper saya kali ini, motionnya sangat jauh berbeda dengan yang sebelumnya. Kali ini K Fardi (one of my guide) ngasih motion yang berhubungan dengan peperangan dan senjata, waww lumayan bingung juga saya pas pertama kali ngebaca motionnya (aduhhh, selalunya bingung klau ngebaca motion, hahahah :D). Bingung mau set up nih motion di negara mana and alasannya kenapa meski di negara tersebut. Nggak lama kemudian saya langsung teringat dengan konflik korean selatan dan korea utara (maklumlah, saya kan K pop lovers, hahaha :D). Kemudian saya lalu mendapatkan ide buat ngebahas nihh motion. Well, let`s check it out my paper with the motion THBT Countrier have a right to nuclear weapon.

          A.    Government

1.      Background /status quo

Okay, the motion today is this house believe that countrier have a right to nuclear weapon. And you know this motion means that country or state is allowed, permitted, has the right and power to make nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapon is a weapon that the energy comes from nuclear reactions and has a tremendous power of destruction, a nuclear bomb that can destroy and devastated a city. Nuclear weapons can be launched through a variety of ways, such as through bombers, missiles, ballistic missiles and intercontinental ballistic missile. Nuclear weapons has two basic types, the first type of energy blast only fission reaction process called atomic bomb. The second type of explosion produces energy through nuclear fusion reactions or so-called hydrogen bomb.

Status quo now, we know that north Korea and south Korea have internal conflicts that until now this has not been resolved. North Korea and South Korea can fought each other and air truce each other. As we know that North Korea already have nuclear weapons at any time they can use to attack South Korea. Even, North Korea have a few times gave threats to the south Korea. So, if North Korea attack South Korea using weapons of nuclear, then certainly winch South Korea will be crushed like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Therefor, countries like South Korea should be given the right to develop and build nuclear weapons as one of the military defense efforts. This is intended that South Korea to defend their country because every country have the right and obligation to protect and defend the country from any case.

There are many benefits obtainable when using nuclear weapons. The benefits of using nuclear weapon namely, reducing the loss experts, why is that ? because nuclear weapons can be operated remotely using a tool that can control it. So that, if an incident occurs like an accident or damage to the weapon which can cause death then it will not make the experts also wounded. Besides that, if South Korea used nuclear weapons in war, then the odds of winning will be greater because, as we know that a potential nuclear weapons has tremendous destructive power.

2.      Mechanism

a.       Make a rule that countries can only use nuclear weapons as a form of defense.

b.      Make a rule nuclear non-proliferation.

3.      Bring case

a.   Countries like South Korea can use nuclear weapons when other countries attack them first. For example, North Korea attacked South Korea with use nuclear weapons then South Korea can also use nuclear weapons to attack North Korea. Why is that? because nuclear weapons are used as a form of defense to defend the country. Nuclear weapons are not used to attack other countries in advance or to master other countries.

b.   Countries with nuclear weapons must sign a nuclear non-proliferation. This agreement provides that the possession of nuclear weapons a country should be limited. This agreement has three main points, namely non-proliferation, disarmament, and the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

          B.     Opposition

1.  Rebuttal

Well, we have two rebuttal for government team. The first is, they say that there are many benefits of nuclear weapon. We disagree with the statement. Why? Because more weapons have losses because the explosive power of nuclear weapons is very high and dangerous, it can kill innocent people. It is the same as seizing the rights of others to live and continue the descent. Besides that, among people who definitely killed a lot of children who are victims. Children who are the future generation of the country. So, who's going to lead, protect and defend the country in the future.

Nuclear weapons causing radiation. The radiation can be exposed to the society. If they are exposed to nuclear radiation, it can result in cell mutations. Mutations are changes in the genetic material (DNA or RNA), both at the level of gene sequences as well as at the level of the chromosome. Mutations can causes new diseases and cancer. Treatment for all of diseases must be very difficult, because there are cells in the human body has undergone mutation. This need a long time to find the treatment and research process that need very high cost.

Besides that, nuclear weapons also produce a very thick smoke that can cause air pollution. If the content of carbon dioxide in the air increases, global warming will accelerate so that the ozone layer that protects the earth will be broken.

The last rebuttal for government team is, they say that country that have a nuclear weapon will not use it for advance or master the other country. We are not sure about that. Why? Because as we know that, every human would want something more if they had obtained what they wanted before. It is the natural instinct of a human being. So if a country have nuclear weapons, then the country will definitely want to dominate other countries. Because the country wants to be the strongest country and controls all other countries.

2.      Bring case

Under the motion we believe that why this motion exist. As we know that society have a right to defend their country. They have to defend their country from various disturbances and threats. But not with the use of nuclear weapons. There are various ways to maintain state. For example, as has been done in South Korea which requires citizens to military service. Military service aims to provide the basic skills of the military. Furthermore, country can increase the defense capabilities by increasing its military members, for example by conducting training and education. Besides that, the country should also improve weapons arsenal and replace it with a good quality. Well, we think that`s all and thank you.
